BERNARDO PACETE May 4, 1952- April 6, 2009 It is with great sadness, that we announce the passing of our beloved Bernardo Pacete, husband, father, uncle, and brother. He was surrounded by love and family and was welcomed into God's arms after fighting a courageous battle with cancer for a year and a half. He will be forever missed by his wife Arsenia Pacete, his children Janice and Brian Pacete,his mother Catalina Pacete, mother-in-law Martina Alpecho, sisters Susana Alpecho and Liezl Bernardo, brother-in-law Mario Alpecho, nieces and nephews Nyssa and Mario Jr. Aplecho, Kathleen and Jumel Bernardo and Jocelyn Pacete, his adopted children Josephine, Edlyn Pacete and MaryAnne Pacete-Planillo along with his brother Paciano Pacete and sisters Norma Balmaceda, Nilda Pindoy and Vilma Penario all of the Philippines, and all of his friends. Bernardo was employed at Nord-Sen Metal Industries for many years. He enjoyed gathering with family and friends and singing karaoke. He also loved fishing and BBQ's in the summer. Special thanks to Cancer Care, Palliative Care and the Doctors and Nurses for their support. Lamay/Viewing will be held on Saturday April 11, 2009 and Sunday April 12, 2009 commencing at 6:00 p.m. Prayers will be said Sunday evening at 7:00 p.m. all from Mosaic Funeral Chapel. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Tuesday April 14th, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 748 Keewatin St. Monsignor Enrique Samson Jr. Celebrant. Interment will take place in Assumption Cemetery. Rest in Peace, we love you!
